Alexis Wray, PA-C

Alexis Wray, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a background in psychology and experience providing comprehensive medical and mental health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Alabama before completing her Physician Assistant training at Faulkner University.

Alexis’s background in healthcare began in geriatric psychiatry, and she later gained experience in primary care, where she treated patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions as well as a variety of mental health concerns. Her experience across medical, psychiatric, and addiction care has shaped her holistic approach to treatment and her belief in considering the whole person rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis.

Alexis is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care in a supportive and judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable being open and honest. She takes an empathetic and open-minded approach to care and believes that building trust and genuine connections with patients is an important part of supporting their treatment, recovery, and overall well-being.

Originally from Alabama, Alexis now calls San Diego home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, exploring San Diego, attending live music events, and spending time with her toy poodle, Cooper, and cat, Maisie.
